How do I become a Member?

Becoming a member of the Be Wise community is EASY! Simply provide your email or connect with a Social Network like Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter. That’s it! You now have a free lifetime membership. Welcome aboard! You can follow this link to watch a tutorial in the Getting Started with Be Wise section!

Does it cost money to use Be Wise?

Membership is FREE FOR LIFE! Just Sign Up and you will be part of one of the fastest growing online communities out there!  it costs NOTHING to become a registered user on Be Wise. Whether you are an individual or a business (or both), it costs NOTHING to become a registered user on Be Wise. Non-Profits are free as well.  (Business Members DO have the option to UPGRADE and boost their online presence by choosing one of our monthly pay plans. Make the choice that is right for you and upgrade or downgrade anytime!)

Is Be Wise in MY area?

The entire idea behind Be Wise is to give Businesses and Customers a great place to be found and interact with each other. While we are currently available across the USA, Be Wise is working tirelessly to expand outside of those borders as well to ensure that no matter where you are, you will benefit from being a member. Whether you are an individual looking for GREAT deals or a business wanting to find customers, you can be certain that every time you log on you are helping to build relationships and grow community in your local area.

What is the User Dashboard?

The User Dashboard is your one-stop command center for ALL things Be Wise. Once a registered member logs in, they are taken to their personal Dashboard and can instantly access all that Be Wise has to offer. Personalize your Profile. Write an article. Search for Coupons. Create an email campaign. Join a group. Review a business… and on and on. There is so much to explore and YOU are in control of it all. There are descriptions at the top of every page explaining everything you need to know and “Help” buttons as well to give you insights along the way.

How do I use my Be Wise Profile(s)?

As with other social networks, your Be Wise profile is the image you choose to project to the world. Individuals and Businesses are able to fully personalize their profiles for the best experience. From the Dashboard/My Account/Switch Accounts you may create, edit or switch to other profiles/accounts. Any comments, reviews, articles, coupons, etc. will then be posted under your member page associated with each account/profile 

Where can I edit my Be Wise Profile?

After logging in and go to your User Dashboard select My Account from the drop down menu and then select Edit Profile. Now you have complete control of what your profile says and shows about you!

Finding the Best

How do I find the Company or Service I need?

Be Wise makes it quick and easy to find a great business or service provider in your local (or non-local) area.  Either use the “Find the Best…” search tool on the Home Page or if you are registered member then feel free to use the “Search” drop-down menu on your “User Dashboard” once you are logged in. Either way you go about it you will have the POWER of the Be Wise search engine at your fingertips to help you find the BEST Deals, Reviews and Customer Service.

How to Follow a Business on Be Wise

Easy. Just search for the business from the home page and click the "Follow" follow button. You can also "Un-follow" if you so wish. If you are not already logged in, Be Wise will ask you to log in or provide us with your email so that we will know how to communicate with you.

How to Add a Coupon on Be Wise

Adding coupons are easy for Business Members. Personal members may not create coupons. From your Member Dashboard select Manage/Coupons. Then just create a New Coupon (or edit/delete old ones). The number of coupons you're allowed is dependent upon the membership plan you've selected.

How to Contact a Business on Be Wise

There are lots of ways to contact a business on Be Wise. From their Member Page you may get their phone number and call them, take their address and mail/visit them, click their "Contact" button and email them or post a question/response on one of the forums!

How to Claim a Coupon On Be Wise

Coupons are found either on a Member's page, search for Local Vendor Coupons or through a link which you may have been emailed. Regardless of how you view the coupon the vendor may wish you to print it out - or show them on a Smart Phone. In all cases when you have selected the coupon you are given the option to either print, save it, email or share it.

How do I Write an Article?

Creating an article is a great way to spread your message and be heard. Similar to blog post, articles can contain useful information for others or be created simply to entertain. The choice is yours and with Be Wise it is easy to create great posts that people will want to read. It starts at your User Dashboard after you are logged in to your account. Simply select Manage from the Drop Down Menu and then choose Articles. You'll be sent to your Article Management page where you can view, create, or edit with ease. Be sure to check out the Knowledge Base and Forums for more specifics on creating GREAT content and getting it seen!

What are the Be Wise Forums?

Along with the Help and Support page, the Be Wise Forums allow members a place to ask questions, get answers, or just start a conversation It's as simple as that. Search through the categories to add or gain insight's on topics ranging from Art to Artichokes. Build community and Be Wise. 

What are Be Wise Groups?

Groups are a great way to gather together people with common interests. Here you can share with other members of a group you belong. View and contribute images, videos, articles, messages, emails and more! Create your own group and leave it open for everyone or make it private for a more exclusive setting in which to exchange ideas about just about anything! You have all the control. Be Wise lets you build the community you want to be a part of. Groups are managed from the member dashboard from My Community/Groups. How do I link to my other Social Network Accounts?

Share your articles and posts with your other Social Networks by selecting  My Account on your Dashboard drop down menu and then choosing Social Connect from the list. Here you can manage how you share your Be Wise activities on your social profiles on sites like Facebook or LinkedIn. Spread your Message!  You may also follow this link to see a tutorial in the Getting Started with Be Wise section!

How to Write a Review On Be Wise

Search for a Company or Service and simply click the "Write a Review" link. Now tell the world how great or not so great your experience was! 

How to Create and Manage Polls

Polls are great way to start a conversation or to learn about those that visit your page(s). Quick and easy to create; Polls are managed from the member dashboard at Manage/Polls.

Where can I give Be Wise Feedback?

Be Wise WANTS to hear from you! We welcome any insights, suggestions, or criticisms about your experience with us. Be Wise will use your feedback as we continually improve to meet our members needs. The best way to let us know your thoughts and be HEARD is to click on the Sunflower FEED ME icon in the upper right of most pages. How to Create a Mailing List on Be Wise

Visit the Communicate/Mailing List option on your Member dashboard. You may add/edit/delete lists.

How to Create an Ad on Be Wise

Managing Ads are easy for Business Members. Personal members may not manage ads. From your Member Dashboard select Manage/Ads. Then just create a new ad (or edit/delete old ones). The number of ads you're allowed is dependent upon the membership plan you've selected.

How to Create a Mail Campaign on Be Wise

Mail campaigns are easy to create for Members with Upgraded Accounts. Simply go to your Dashboard and go to the Communicate/Mail Campaign Tab. Then create a New Campaign. Once a campaign is created you may add, edit or delete follow up emails from this same screen.

How to Claim Your Business On Be Wise

Method 1: From a Vendor Search (or any other method you get to a Business page) you may hit the "Claim this Business Button"

Method 2: From any page you may hit the "Create a Free Account" button in the top right. When prompted put in your business information. If Be Wise detects this matches to an existing business already listed in Be Wise then you will be offered the option to claim an existing business or create a new one.

**Since creating/claiming a business is serious business, Be Wise may request additional information or verification before you can claim an existing company. We know it may slow you down just a bit but we are sure our members recognize the need to maintain the integrity and value of Business Profiles by protecting all of our members against fraudulently claimed companies.**

Having Trouble?

Forgot your Username or Password?

When you are having an issue logging into your account simply follow the Forgot Your Password? or Forgot Your Username? links at the log in screen. You will be guided through the quick and secure process of getting you back to your account. 

How do I contact Be Wise with an issue?

There are several ways in which you can get an issue resolved.  You can follow the Contact Us link at the bottom of any page to send us an email. In addition, if your issue requires a lightning fast response, please use the Talk to Us link at the top right of your screen and get connected with live support.

How do I report bad behavior?

Please let us know if you run across anything that seems dangerous or out-of-line during your experience with Be Wise. Send us a message via the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page or if you see something in the forums feel free to “Flag” for review by a Be Wise moderator. Everyone has different views, interests and opinions, but safety will always be Rule #1.
